Duties and Taxes (Smart DDU)

This article provides an overview of the dedicated screen for Smart DDU, a premium service offered by Nobordist. Here, you can conveniently check the status of your orders and their corresponding Duties and Taxes Value.

Smart DDU is one of Nobordist's exclusive services designed to streamline logistical operations in Brazil. It operates in direct partnership with Brazil Post Office (Correios), relieving you of concerns related to duties payment and accelerating your shipping processes.

This page has been developed as a part of the Smart DDU Solution. For more information about this unique Nobordist service, please click on the highlighted text.

1. Click on 'Orders' and then in 'Duties & Taxes'.

Upon entering this page, you will find information about your orders. The information presented here may be unique to this screen and under our control. For example, the order ID is specific to this screen.

The status field represents the financial status of your order and can have one of five different statuses:

  • Waiting for payment: This status occurs when the order undergoes customs inspection, resulting in a tax that needs to be paid for the product's release. Nobordist takes action by paying the tax for the order when it reaches this status.

  • Payment done: When Nobordist has successfully paid the required fees, and the order is cleared, it is updated to this status. At this point, the order can proceed to its final destination.

  • Pending: The "Pending" status is used when there is a pending issue that is not within Nobordist's control. This could include a lack of balance to complete the payment, instability with the chosen payment method, or issues with the postal server.

  • Paid externally: This status is assigned when someone other than Nobordist has made the payment for the order.

  • Need Seller Action: In cases where the seller needs to take specific actions for Nobordist to proceed with the payment, this status is assigned. For instance, it may be necessary if the order lacks a valid CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) number.

Real Tax: This field displays the actual tax amount charged by Brazilian customs for the order, which may differ from the initially expected amount due to customs assessments or tax regulation changes.

Incoterm: This section indicates whether your orders are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).

In summary, this page offers a comprehensive view of your orders' financial status and provides transparency regarding each order's unique journey. You can easily track and manage your orders, knowing that Nobordist is committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient process for you.

2. Visualize order details.

You can click on the order ID number to access relevant information about that order, including currency and the expected tax. Please note that the expected tax may change based on how the Federal Revenue charges for each item.

You can also click on the order number, which will redirect you to the order management page, where you can access all the information you might need about this specific order.

Like in other pages, you can select the box on the left corner to show and allow the dowload of the marked orders. Clicking in 'Sellect All' will select all orders in the page.

3. Tracking

Additionally, there is a 'To Tracking Page' button that will redirect you to our tracking page.
